In response to mike:The Magic underwear look surprisingly normal, kind of like thermals. Believing that it protects you from fire... not so normal.

In response to mike:Wow! Cool cartoon. Watching it in animation really helps drive home how out there the beliefs sound. Wonder why this hasn't been on the news yet?!?!

In response to mike:I love that we would add coffee and tea to our war on drugs. That's hillarious, if it weren't so scary.

In response to mike:The magic underwear doesn't look near as strange as I'd envisoned it; maybe they sell a different more exotic version for missionaies?

In response to mike:I'm still not sure how the white guys got to America to fight with the American Indians and bury the gold tablets. (This is the point where somebody usually tells me to shut up, because it's just a tv show.)

In response to mike:Whoa!!! Exactly what kind of drugs do you have to take to buy into this as an adult? Must be pretty strong stuff.

In response to mike:Nothing like a little pre-election year religious mud slinging to get us in the mood. Nice song tho.

In response to mike:Seems rather a let down after all that build-up. Nobody asked him for id and the undergarmets seem rather ordinary.

In response to mike:Good god, that looks like fiction. It's amazing what religion gets people to believe.

In response to mike:That's it!?!?!? I have thermals that provide more coverage and cooler symbols. Kinda makes me suspect it's a hoax.

In response to mike:OK. You've got to be kidding me. They made a cartoon as a teaching tool and let it leak out? Or was it made outside the Mormon church?

In response to Kat:I couldn't tell for sure who made it. It might be a cartoon that leaked from the temple, but I think more likely is that the guy who was divorced by his Mormon wife made it to show how kooky the religion was.

No way. Entirely too many influences on his daily life that would influence his choices and decisions as president. Whether his beliefs are on the radical side of the religion or not, I don't think the general population will be comfortable with the idea. I know I'm not.

No. I don't think Americans would be accepting a mormon president. Goood thing he quit the race... I don't think he would've been chosen anyway, precisely because of the religious background. Americans might act open minded at points, but their heart is in their voting, and they would not have elected a mormon.
